I took this photo after work one day, in March of 2007. A very slow and lenghty BNSF Railway unit grain train, had finally cleared the crosstracks at Hawthorne Junction. Soon, this eastbound Canadian National 2 unit switching local recieved clearance from the dispatcher, and is seen here proceeding east over the former Illinois Central Iowa Division mainline. Notice the GTW reporting marks on the side of the locomotive cab.Thursday, March 29, 2007
