I took this photo on an August 2000 visit to the Illinois Railway Museum, located in the town of Union Illinois.This was the corporate logo used by the Chicago Transit Authority during the 1960's. This logo was used on Buses, Rapid Transit Trains, Company buildings, and Maintenance equipment operating in and around the city of Chicago Illinois. This logo lasted on some buses into the 1970's, and on the outgoing 6000 series rapid transit cars during the mid to late 1980's.
