I took this vintage looking black and white photo, on an August 1990 vacation I took in Strasburg Pennsylvania. This quaint little railroad shack, is located across Cherry Hill Road from the Groffs grove picnic stop depot on the Strasburg Railroad.
The Strasburg Railroad has been in business as a steam powered tourist railroad since the late 1950's, and was featured recently in Trains Magazine. This railroad not only operates tourist trains on the 4 and 1/2 mile branchline, but also does contract shop repair work on other tourist railroad's steam locomotives.
