Preserved Chicago Transit Authority vechicles in retirement. The Illinois Railway Museum. Union Illinois USA. July 1996.

I took this photo at the preserved CTA 50th Avenue rapid transit station from Cicero Illinois, at the Illinois Railway Museum. The bus in the background, is a 1951 vintage General Motors TDH series transit bus originally from the Chicago Motor Coach Company. The rapid transit train to the right, is a Pulman built CTA 2000 series rapid transit train built in 1964. Both served Chicago transit commuters well for many years in the windy city.
