I took this photo at the Chicago city limits by the border at Cicero Illinois. Traveling northbound over the busy Belt Railway of Chicago north and south crosstown trunk line, is a transfer train from then regional railroad Iowa, Chicago & Eastern. It was a bitterly cold and windy Chicago winter morning when I took this photo, but You just couldn't beat the fresh air, bright sunshine, and frequent transfer train activity at the busy crosstrack and interchange junction on Chicago's near southwest side that day.
