A sometimes often un noticed day to day object that greets rapid transit commuters in the greater Chicagoland area, are the lighted signs at the entrances to bus and train terminals.
This beautiful lighted sign, is in the main entrance of the Chicago Transit Authority's Linden Avenue Purple line rapid transit terminal in north suburban Wilmette Illinois.
Linden Avenue is the north terminal or "End of the line" for the CTA Purple line, and operates at ground leval for a few city blocks through a scenic wooded setting north of nearby Evanston Illinois.
