Looking east, on Wilmette Avenue, We see a fast moving northbound Metra evening rush hour express commuter train passing the railroad crossing at the intersection of Green Bay Road.
This Metra line, is the Union Pacific owned North Line to Kenosha Wisconsin. This was a former Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad line.
