Blues Brothers art at the East 95th Street drawbridge over the Calumet River. Chicago Illinois USA. Saturday, October 15th, 2011., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photo during a recent photo outing with My buddy Anthony C on the far southeast side of Chicago back on Saturday, October 15th of 2011.
This little roadsie piece of art honoring "The Blues brothers", is located on the south side of East 95th Street just past the drawbridge over the Calumet River, in Chicago's very own South Chicago neighborhood.
The adjacent East 95th Street bridge, was used in a spectacular "Car jumps over an open drawbridge" scene in the 1980 motion picture "The Blues Brothers", wich had starred John Belushi and Dan Akroyd formerly of the NBC TV show Saturday Night Live.
This advertisement wich features the image of The Blues Brothers, is used for promoting a popular little local take out seafood stand known as calumet Fisheries, wich is out of view to the right of this sign.
