Athearn H.O Union Pacific Challenger steam locomotive runby.
I photographed this video recently, at The Oak Park Society of Model Engineers, H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.
An Athearn H.O Scale model of a Union Pacific Railroad 4-6-6-4 articulated "Challenger" type steam locomotive built by the American Locomotive Company during World War 2, performs a runby with a handful of Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad wooden reefer cars in tow on the club layout.
The locomotive is painted in Union Pacific's 1940's era "Grayhound" color scheme, wich was generally used on some steam locomotives assigned to passenger train service.
