This photo was E Mailed to Me recently, by Mr. Robert Pitunjac of the Clear Ridge Historical Society of Chicago.
One of My all time favorite now forgotten little amusement parks of Chicago's historical past, was a place known as "Playland Park" in the town of southwest suburban Justice Illinois near Willow Springs.
My family took Me there a handful of times during the 1970's, but unfortunately never took the camera with them.
Seen here along the west midway of the park, is the "Swingin Gym" ride, wich required a little muscle and excercise to ride on.
Playland Park had closed in the year of 1979.
Thank You Robert.
Eddie K.
