MTH Premier PRR H3 Consolidation (2-8-0) O-Gauge Steam Locomotive in Tru...

I spotted this video on You Tube recently.

MTH or "mike's Train House" as it is known, manufactures and imports a fine line of quality O' Scale model trains.

Seen here is a model, of preserved Pennsylvania Railroad 2-8-0 steam locomotive # 1187, wich was built by the PRR's Altoona Locomotive Works inJanuary of 1888.

The prototype Pennsylvania Railroad # 1187, is preserved today at the Railroad museum of Pennsylvania in the town of Strasburg Pennsylvania USA.

These little 2-8-0 consolidation type steam locomotives, where the EMD GP 7's of the 1880s era, and were used primarilly on freight trains.
