Hi everyone!
This is Eddie K, Your host and photographer here at Eddie's Railfan Page.

Please mark Your calendar.

This coming Saturday, November 5th, 2011 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM...I will
be hosting a local "Railfan Photo Slideshow" at the Franklin Park Public Library.
The Franklin Park Public Library is located at 10311 West Grand Avenue, in near
northwest suburban Franklin Park Illinois USA.

One of the many things that I will be showing, is a DVD video entitled
"The CTA EL and other electrics", wich features several local silent color
railfan home movies of the various CTA elevated and subway lines, photographed
around Chicago during the 1950's and 60's.

Scenes include construction of the Congress Expressway, The Lake Street elevated
at ground leval in west suburban Oak Park Illinois with crossing gates, as well
as scenes of the electric interurban trains of the Chicago, Aurora And Elgin, and
the Chicago, North Shore And Milwaukee Railroads traveling to and from downtown Chicago over the CTA elevated lines.

This will be a fun event, and We hope to see You there.

Thanks.
Eddie K.
