The Elmwood Park Public Library located at 1 Conti Parkway Circle in Elmwood Park Illinois, welcomes local Chicago historian and photographer Edward Kwiatkowski from the Chicago based internet site Eddie's Railfan Page on Saturday May 19th.

Eddie will be hosting a multi media photo slideshow event honoring Chicago's Amusement Parks of The Past.

If You could remember enjoying family outings to places like Riverview Park in Chicago Illinois, Adventureland in Addison Illinois, Playland Park in Justice Illinois, Kiddieland in Melrose Park Illinois, or any of the once numerous little seasonal "Mom and Pop" amusement parks that resembled carnivals in Chicago's many suburban communities during the 1950's and 60's...then You definately wil not wan't to miss this fun family oriented event at the Elmwood Park Public Library.
