The Chicago Transit Authority West 111th Street turn around loop near South Pulaski Road. Chicago Illinois USA. November 1989.
I took this black and white 35MM photograph in Chicago's Mount Greenwood neighborhood. Seen here on a cloudy and cold late Autum afternoon in November of
1989, is the CTA bus terminal on West 111th street and South Springfield avenue.
This loop serves CTA buses from the Route # 112 / West 111th Street line, and the Route # 53A South Pulaski Road line. Seen here is an old rehabbed 1970's era GMC Fishbowl Windshield bus in the 1989 "New Image" color scheme, sharing the terminal with a 1985 M.A.N transit bus from West Germany.
