I took this photo on an August 2005 visit to the Hesston Steam Museum.
The Hesston Steam Museum is located in northwest Indiana near the
Michigan State line. It's close proximity to New Buffalo Michigan
and nearby Michigan City Indiana, makes it a very scenic and enjoyable
one day get a way. Many exibits of antique steam powered machinery,
antique fire fighting equipment, tractors, and three seperate operating
steam powered demonstration railroads, makes it a sure bet that You
will get Your coal smoke , valve oil, and cinders worth. It is a fun
place to take Your Family to. Also on the property undergoing mechanical
restoration, is the former Zoo Train from Chicago's Brookfield Zoo.
