A Motive Power International model MP36PH passenger diesel locomotive
has just departed the Metra California Avenue coach yard near Grand and
North California Avenues, and is now about to proceed running light in
reverse past the Metra Western Avenue commuter rail station, and continue
it's journey to Chicago Union Station in downtown Chicago Illinois. The
Metra Western Avenue station, can often find frequent Metra commuter trains,
maintenance movements, coach yard switching operations, and those occasional
light engine movements to and from Chicago Union Station.
