A good hearty and inexpensive meal goes hand in hand with all of those
lineside railfan photo outings in the fresh air with your camera in hand.
This is the Greenwood Restaurant, located just south of the intersection of
Glenview and Greenwood Roads in north suburban Glenview Illinois. ( Near Niles.)
The Greenwood Restaurant serves a delicious and inexpensive variety of Breakfast entrees and lunch time specials too. The Pancakes are excellent, the coffee is fresh, and everything is made to order at reasonable prices. The best part of all has to be the wonderful and very courteous staff that works there. The place closes around 3PM in the afternoon though.
