I took this photo on a lovely afternoon in the early Spring of 2007.
A southbound Chicago Transit Authority Yellow line rapid transit train,
speeds across the railroad crossing on Main Street in north suburban
Skokie Illinois. The Skokie Swift line was opened in April of 1964, and
was created from a portion of the abandoned Chicago, North Shore & Milwaukee
electric railroad's Skokie Valley Mainline.
