The 15" guage live steam miniature train ride at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Brookfield Wisconsin. September 1987.

I took this photo on a Family roadtrip in 1987, to the Milwaukee County Zoo. Located just west of downtown Milwaukee Wisconsin, in the suburb of Brookfield Wisconsin, this pleasant Zooalogical Park, also features a miniature train ride around the property. The track guage is only 15 inches between the rails, but the equipment like this live steam 4-6-2 Pacific type that was based on a Soo Line prototype, deliver plenty of pulling power and sound just like the prototype did many decades ago.

Greetings from NC. What an awesome locomotive and cool 15" guage. I'd like to post this on my site: www.tarheeltrains.com.
