I took this photo during an August 2006 visit to the Illinois Railway Museum. This locomotive, a 4-6-2 Pacific type passenger locomotive, originally hauled long distance passenger trains, and Chicago to Joliet Illinois commuter trains until 1953. Rescued from a park display, the locomotive is now awaiting cosmetic restoration.
