I was passing through northwest suburban Bensenville Illinois one quiet Sunday Winter afternoon in January of 2009, and couldn't resist the opportunity to photograph 1922 Alco built 0-6-0 steam locomotive # 18 from the Chicago Gravel Company. This locomotive has been on display in Bensenville's Veterans Park since 1961. Although the Christmas Holiday Season had just passed a couple of weeks ago, it was nice seeing old # 18 decked out with a Holiday Christmas wreath up front.
