New Haven Railroad caboose C-527 in 1956. From the internet.

This photo comes to Eddie's Railfan Page today from My links page Fallen Flags.Org to the right of Your computer screen.

This is a rare color photograph from 1956, of a working local freight train and crew.
Although a town wasn't mentioned, it looks like the photo could have been taken in the States of Massachusettes, New York, or even Connecticut.

The New Havwen Railroad began using bold and modern color schemes with a new and unique NH logo under the leadership of then New Haven Railroad President Patrick B. Mc Ginnis and His administration during the 1950's era.
