Looking west from one of the station platforms of the Metra Western Avenue commuter rail station at North Western Avenue and West Hubbard Street, We spot a Metra EMD yard switcher pulling a cut of commuter coaches from the California Avenue maintenance facility alongside Grand Avenue.
