Digital Live Sound Video: Northbound Metra commuter train. Banockburn Illinois USA. Early June 2010.

I photographed this digital live sound video a couple of weeks ago during My morning lunch break, in far north suburban Banockburn Illinois.

A fast moving Metra commuter train, is viewed approaching and passing the Illinois U.S Route # 22 Half Day Road railroad crossing. I believe that this train is a scheduled local enroute to the next station stop at nearby Lake Forest Illinois.

This unique roadside image of mainline railroading, was photographed looking west along Waukegan Road. The train is traveling over the Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road northline, wich features commuter trains from Chicago to Fox Lake Illinois.
Beside the fact that this is a busy artery route for freight trains, the Amtrak Hiawatha and Empire Builder passenger trains pass through here as well.
