A sometimes un noticed local landmark with character in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood on the southside of town, is this little eating establishment known as Stan's Drive In.
looking like an old converted 1920's era gasoline station, Stan's Drive In is an example of some of the small Mom and Pop neighborhood businesses once very common during past decades in Chicago.
Although it was closed for the day when I stopped to take this photo, I wouldn't mind stopping in for a sandwich or snack here if I ever have the opportunity.
