New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad Alco model RS-3 locomotive and caboose in the year 1956. From the internet.
I found this very nice historic American east coast railroad photograph while surfing the internet a few days ago.
Although they did not say what town or state this 1956 vintage color photo was taken, I know for a fact that the pre 1969 fallen flag railroad New York, New Haven & Hartford had a strong prescence in the states of New York, Maasachuseetes and Connecticut.
Photographed somewhere in the New England States way back in the mid 1950's, this 1st Generation American Locomotive Company (Alco ) model RS-3 early road switcher and caboose are shown working on a branchline switching local.
If anyone can identify this location, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.
Eddie K.
