Penn Central class X-67 Hi Cube box car circa early 1970's. From the internet.
I spotted this photo recently on the internet.
Although the financially troubled Penn Central Railroad only existed from 1968 to 1976, their bright Jade green fleet of boxcars added color to an otherwise very plain basic black railroad.
The very large approximately 86 Foot Hi Cube boxcar from their X-67 classification, were mostly used on the PC and other railroads for hauling auto parts.
