On Saturday, June 26th 2010, I will be hosting an event at The Eisenhower Public Library in Harwood Heights Illinois entitled "The Chicagoland Railfan Photo Slideshow and Video Presentation" from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.
The Eisenhower Public Library is located at 4613 N Oketo Avenue in near northwest suburban Harwood Heights Illinois. An added bonus feature to be shown, is a unique musical photo slideshow I put together entitled Chicago Streetcar Memorys.
If You or someone You know grew up in the city of Chicago Illinois prior to the end of Chicago Transit Authority electric streetcar operations in 1958, then this will be the show to attend. See Chicago the way it used to look like back then.
If You enjoyed viewing this photo from the internet of two CTA 1936 era streamlined electric streetcars operating on private right of way on West 63rd Place near South Narragansett Avenue in 1948, then You will definately enjoy seeing Chicago Streetcar Memorys.
