Digital Live Sound Video: Southbound Belt Railway of Chicago transfer train crossing West 67th Street. Chicago Illinois USA. July 2008.

Railroads operate 24 / 7 in all kinds of weather rain or shine, and this video presents an everyday example of just that kind of a working environment.

I had just stepped out of My car to photograph a digital railfan video of an approaching Belt Railway of Chicago transfer train enroute to Clearing Yard, when all of a sudden...I got drenched by a very sudden, heavy and torrential rainstorm.
This BRC transfer train is viewed crossing West 67th Street near Chicago's Midway Airport, and is entering the West 68th Street wye interchange and heading east in to the Chicago side of Clearing Yard.

My good friend Anthony C and His lovely Wife Carolyn spotted Me, yelled out My name and waved to Me. It's a small world and You may never know when one of Your good buddys will show up. Even during the darndest / wettest occasions in public.
A happy memory even during inclement weather.

Thanks.
Eddie K.
