Two CTA 1970's era GMC fishbowl windshield buses waiting at the South Archer Avenue west terminal loop. Chicago Illinois USA. April 1988.
One of My favorite bus photos I had taken during the 1980's, was this one near the Chicago city limits at South Archer and Neva Avenues.
Seen here at the CTA Route # 62 Archer / Harlem Avenue west terminal loop in Chicago's Garfield Ridge neighborhood near Midway Airport, are two 1970's era GMC TDH series "New Look" fishbowl windshield 40 foot transit buses.
Long the standard transit bus type utilized by the Chicago Transit Authority, they would be retired by 1996.
