The East Troy Electric Railroad and Museum. East Troy Wisconsin. September 2006.

I took this photo during a September 2006 visit to The East Troy Electric Railroad and Museum in East Troy Wisconsin.

Seen here on the west end of the line near the carbarn leads, is a former Philadelphia Suburban Transit 1920's era Stratford interurban rapid transit car. These cars were used for many years on what is now the SEPTA Norristown High Speed Line just outside of the city of Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Modified with a low leval step in one of the vestibules for easy boarding and alighting, car # 64 shown here operated as "The Phantom Lake Flyer" at East Troy for a number of years in recent times.

This car was recently traded to The Electric City Trolley Museum in Scranton Pennsylvania for three former Cleveland Ohio PCC electric streetcars.
