I took this photo one day last month, at the Chicago city limits border adjacent to northwest suburban Niles Illinois.
A well used Elgin Pelican model street sweeper vechicle from the City of Chicago Department Of Streets And Sanitation, is viewed heading northbound at the intersection of West Touhy and North Harlem Avenues.
Notice how the reflective red and silver safety tape on the side of the vechgicle, is wearing out and may soon need replacing.
