I took this photo at work last year, in August of 2010.
Seen here in the back parking lot across from the Mechanic's garage building, are two First Transit Ford Paratransit model buses.
The remaining older or "Gold Stripe" buses, were just retired last week and taken off the roster. New Ford buses like the one shown to the right in the blue and white colors, have replaced the older models recently.
First Transit is growng, and more new Ford buses are on order at the North Cook garage in Glenview Illinois.
