I found this photo at My Link page Tom's Trolleybus Pictures located to the right of Your computer screen.

I grew up in the city of Chicago Illinois, during the 1960's and 70's.

One of My favoriye meories frm that period, was actually having the opportunity to see and ride aboard the Chicago Transit Authority's electric trolleybuses during their last decade of service.

This photo was taken during the mid 1960's, at the popular Chicago intersection known as "Six Corners" on the northside of Chicago. Six Corners, is located at the intersection of West Irving Park Road, North Milwaukee Avenue, and North Cicero Avenue. In this photo, a 1948 era CTA Pulman Standard electric trolleybus, is viewed heading eastbound on West Irving Park Road.

Six Corners, is still a very heavilly trafficked intersection in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood. CTA electric trolleybus operations ended in March of 1973.
