The Hesston Steam Museum. Hesston Indiana USA. Sunday, September 12th, 2010.

I took this photo during My September 2010 visit to The Hesston Steam Museum.

This wonderful and very family oriented operating railroad museum, is located just east of Michigan City Indiana in the town of nearby Hesston Indiana.

The large narrow guage locomotive to the left, was originally from the European Nation formerly known as East Germany. It is an 0-8-0 Meter Guage ( U.S 2 Foot Track Guage) industrial steam locomotive.

The locomotive to the right on the miniature 14 inch track guage railroad, is originally from Chicago's Kiddieland Amusement Park at Melrose Park Illinois, wich closed in September of 2009.

For more information about the lovely and very scenic Hesston Steam Museum, located just a few miles south of the border at nearby New Buffalo Michigan, log on to www.hesston.org
