I took this photo way back in October of 1983, at the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Elsdon Yard in Chicago Illinois.

The GTW Elsdon Yard, was in it's last week of operation prior to abandonement.

This GTW transfer caboose, was seen just north of adjacent West 51st Street near South St. Louis Avenue in Chicago's Elsdon neighborhood.
