One of the things that I really enjoy about lineside railfanning, is finding those occasional pieces of railroad rolling stock from former railroads that once existed, and seeing them still traveling around in their former colors and markings many years after being absorbed in to another company through merger/
Conrail existed from 1976 until 1999. This former Conrail Hi Cube box car, is viewed passing through the Elmwood Park Metra commuter rail station last week Saturday afternoon.
