On Saturday, April 23rd 2011 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, I will be hosting an event at the Eisenhower Public Library entitled "The Chicago Railfan Photo Slideshow!"
The library is located at 4613 N Oketo Avenue in northwest suburban Harwood Heights Illinois.
One of the many features I will be showing, will be a short historical musical photo slideshow I put together entitled "When Chicago Rode The Streetcars." This photo slideshow video, is set to authentic historic period music ranging from "Ragtime Piano -Dixieland Jazz -and 1940's era Big Band Standards."
If You grew up in the city of Chicago prior to the end of CTA electric streetcar operations in 1958, or know someone who did...Then You will absolutely enjoy seeing these historic photos of Chicago, as it used to look like many years ago.
Who knows! Maybe You may even see an old photo from Your neighborhood You grew up in!
