Earlier today from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, I hosted the Chicago Railfan Photo Slideshow at the Eisenhower Public Library in Harwood Heights Illinois.

The event was a well recieved success, and I am writing to thank everyone for coming out and seeing My presentation in the upstairs meetimng room. Ny homemad musical photo slideshow I put together entitled "When Chicago Rode The Streetcars", brought a smile and many poitive questions from the audience. Some had actualy rode the Chicago streetcars prior to the end of CTA electric streetcar operations in 1958.

Many happy memories of Chicago some sixty something years ago abounded, new acqaintences were met, and many handshakes and smiles exchanged.

My next upcoming slideshow appearance hosting, will be Saturday, May 14th 2011 at the Franklin Park Public Library from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the library's Comminity Room. This will be a special presentation commemorating the memories of Chicago's Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois.
