Seen here switching a cut of cars on the industrial bypass branchline along the north side of Clearing Yard, is a Belt Railway of Chicago rebuilt 1970's era EMD yard switcher. This photo was taken looking east from South Central Avenue at approximately West 68th Street. This is a very busy Chicago area rail hub located near Midway Airport on Chicago's southwest side.Wednesday, April 02, 2008
