I took this photo this past Saturday afternoon, at the Elmwood Park Metra commuter rail station.

I spent a pleasant afternoon at the station on a beautiful and sunny early Springtime afternoon. The best part of all, was I showed up at a time when many freight trains were dispatched on to the former Milwaukee Road mainline.

Seen here is the tail end, of a lenghty eastbound Canadian National Railroad unit tank car train after it passed through the depot.
