Hi everyone!
This is Eddie K, Your host and photographer here at Eddie's Railfan Page.

Please mark Your calendar!

On Saturday, November 5th 2011 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, I will be
hosting a local Railfan Photo Slideshow at the Franklin Park Public Library.

The library is located at 10311 West Grand Avenue, in near northwest suburban
Franklin Park Illinois. Admission is free.

The theme of My presentation, will be about riding the CTA rapid transit lines
in Chicago, during the 1950's and 60's. As part of My presentation...I will be
showing a video entitled "The CTA EL And Other Electrics", wich features several
silent local Chicago area railfan home movies taken during the 1950's and 60's...
set to Dixieland Jazz Music.

Do You remember the Lake Street Elevated line at ground leval with crossing gates
in west suburban Oak Park Illinois? How about the Garfield Park Elevated Line?
Perhaps the electric interurban rains of the Chicago, Aurora And Elgin, or the
Chicago, North Shore And Milwaukee railroads, wich had shared the Chicago Transit Authority elevated right of way to and from downtown Chicago?

If You had grown up in Chicago during this period, or know someone who did, then
You won't wan't to miss this historic presentation.

This will be a fun event, and We hope to see You there.

Thanks!
Eddie .
