The Franklin Park Public Library located at 10311 West Grand Avenue in near northwest suburban Franklin Park Illinois, welcomes local Chicago historian and photographer Eddie K on Saturday, November 5th 2011 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Eddie will be hosting a local railfan photo slideshow, aimed at people who enjoy trains and other historic transportation subjects.
The main theme of the upcoming November 5th presentation, wil focus on "Riding the CTA rapid transit in Chicago during the 1950's and 60's era.
If You remember the long gone Garfield Park elevated line on the west side of Chicago, the Lake Street elevated at ground leval in west suburban Oak Park Illinois with crossing gates, or the electric interurban trains of the Chicago, North Shore And Milwaukee, or the Chicago, Aurora And Elgin wich had shared the CTA right of way to and from downtown Chicago, then You won't wan't to miss this historic presentation about the Chicago Transit Authority's elevated and subway lines.
