I photographed this digital live sound video on Friday, October 31st 2008. The industrial short line railroad known as the Central Illinois Railroad, wa having a railfan oriented "Open House / Public Relations event. The event included photo runbys on their former Burlington Northern Railroad branchline in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. The actual working freight train, is seen approaching the railroad crossing at South Damen Avenue. The locomotive was painted in to an historical heritage color scheme honoring the pre 1970 Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad. The C,B & Q switched this line during the 1950's and 60's, with EMD yard switchers in this color scheme.
