Eastbound CTA Pink line train crossing South Kilbourn Avenue. Chicago Illinois USA. April 2007.
I took this photo after work one overcast evening, in April of 2007. An eastbound Chicago Transit Authority pink line train, has just departed from the Cicero Avenue station in nearby west suburban Cicero Illinois just a few city blocks west of here.
The train is viewed crossing South Kilbourn Avenue at ground leval.
Prior to the CTA's new system of color coding the rapid transit lines in 1993, this line was originally known as "The Douglas Park Elevated line.
