Exhibits about the golden era of passenger train travel can be viewed up close first hand, at the Illinois Railway Museum. Seen here is an old 1920's era passenger dining car from the fallen flag railroad Louisville and Nashville. This car served quality on board home cooked meals in pre Amtrak times.
