Preserved 1920's era CTA 4000 series rapid transit car. The East Troy Electric Railroad and Museum. East Troy Wisconsin USA. September 2006.
I took this photo during a September 2006 visit to the East Troy Electric Railroad and Museum in East Troy Wisconsin. This old 1920's era rapid transit car, was originally used by the Chicago Rapid Transit Company, and later on, The Chicago Transit Authority from 1947 to retirement in the early 1970's. It has been restored to the 1920's era green and orange CRT colors.
