The Metra "Mars" commuter flagstop depot. Chicago Illinois USA. June 2009.
I took this photo after work one evening, in June of 2009. Yes folks it's true...You really can take Chicago's Metra commuter trains to Mars. This little flagstop depot is located on North Oak Park Avenue, between Grand and North Avenues on Chicago's northside. The depot is so named, as it is located immediately adjacent to the famous M & M Mars Candy Company.
This area, is where Chicago's Galewood and Mont Clare neighborhoods meet.
