The Hesston Steam Museum. Hesston Indiana USA. Sunday, September 12th, 2010.

I took this photo during My recent visit to The Hesston Steam Museum in northwestern Indiana.

Seen here steaming away in the Hesston Junction Depot, is a 14 inch track guage 4-6-6 streamlined 4 -6 -4 steam locomotive. This working coal burning miniature steam locomotive, originally worked at the now closed Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois.

This locomotive was donated to The Hesston Steam Museum way back in 1982. The metal Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad badge on the front of the smoke stack, is a very nice touch.
