One of My favorite images in day to day life, are the beautiful sunsets that sometimes follow a late day rain shower.

I took this photo back in July of 2008.
An all afternoon rain has finally stopped falling around sunset on a summer evening in near northwest suburban Elmwood Park Illinois.
The lovely and colorul hues of an evening sunset, helps chase away the gray skies of a rainy afternoon.
